No idea what that has to do with running an SQL query against the database, but, sure, you can map a network drive to the AS400. You'll need AS/400 NetServer configured and running (which allows you to share AS400 IFS folders in a Windows network using CIFS) , and you'll need to configure the desired shares in Netserver.
